Love this. I don't buy ice cream from the truck but it does create a happy feeling when I hear the music...nostalgic I think from my childhood.

Oh and how could you forget the Bernie & Phyls theme song....quality, comfort and price... That's nice!

Thanks for all of the insight you provided at the SSWBN conference! Of course it was only the tip of the iceberg but at least it was a great start for those of us trying to get a handle on all of the new ways to market to our target audiences.

I have an interesting challenge because I am looking to train those not yet computer-savvy. How do I use the Internet to 'be where they may be looking'? Your insight would be most welcome!

Congratulations to Priscilla on winning the t-shirt!

I use flash for quick animations, its easy, quick and it works easily with all other design programs. Flash might be obsolete for web but it is still great for presentations, smooth animation. I have not have any issues with it and it works for what i need it to do until the new better thing comes out. As far as Apples views it seems that they are a little transparent because Apple wants to control how things develop oppose to give to people what they want. But then again that is just my opinion.

The title is an understatement: Flash was never necessary. Almost all applications, including watching movies, could have been solved better with other existing technologies---and without the security, compatiblity, and accessiblity problems of Flash. The cases were Flash did bring a benefit were few and the benefit small. In fact, I cannot, of the top of my head, name one single case where Flash brought a major benefit.

Let Flash die and root---the sooner the better.
